10-30-06 Today our anti-spam software was put to the test in a real life scenario. Our records show that a spammer was attempting to spam Sell 5 members for 71 minutes. Our system intercepted all of these emails so none of them ever reached their target. We are pleased to report that another potential scam artist was detoured for 71 minutes while attempting to scam Americans out of our hard earned money. This is 71 minutes of emails that he could've been sending out to other members on other online classifieds sites. We see many PT Cruisers and Scion xBs wrapped in logos but we wanted something that would stand out a little bit above the rest. We decided to go with something a little more catchy and luxurious. The car we chose was the Lexus IS 300. It is the perfect mix of luxury and sportiness at an affordable price. 3-16-06 We are pleased to report that the advertising campaign that we launched on February 1st is giving back great results. In the month of February, we had 317 new members sign up and 764 local Arizona ads placed. That is an average of 27 local ads placed each day! This may not seem like a lot to some people, but if you compare it to other average sized Arizona sites, these are legit ads. Some other sites have a lot of spam or useless ads. The grand prize will be $500 cash and a total of $710 payout for the top 3 positions all provided by Sell5.com. This winter season races will be every Tuesday starting January 11th, 2005 and there will be a total of 10 races. The 2 lowest race scores during the season will be thrown out.
