I. Joining

To create a new account on the classifieds, click on the 'Log In' hyper link located on menu. Choose the 'Create A New Account' hyperlink to display the Account Setup form. Once you have completed the account setup form, click on the 'Create Account' button and you account information will be e-mailed to you. See below for a complete list of fields in this form and their descriptions.

II. Logging In

To log in to the classifieds, click on the 'Log In' hyperlink located on the menu. Enter your username and password information into the specified fields and then click the 'Login to Classifieds' button.

If you have forgotten your password you can click on the "Forgotten Password ?" hyperlink and enter your Username to have your account information e-mailed to you.

Note: Your account information will be sent to the e-mail address that you originally established the account with.

III. Logging Out

Click on the 'Log Out' hyperlink on the menu to log out from the classifieds.

IV. My Profile

You can update your profile information anytime by clicking the 'My Profile' hyper link on the menu. See the Joining area above for a complete list of fields in this form and their descriptions.

To view classified ads, navigate to category that contains ads that interest you. From there you will see a list of all the ads that are contained within that category. If the number of ads that are contained within that category exceed the maximum number of ads per page, then you will see a navigation link at the top and bottom of the listings allowing you to go to the next or previous page. Once you have found an ad that interests you, click on either the ad title or the details hyperlink to display the full size ad.

The full size ad contains the following areas -

• General - contains information about the specific ad such as ad number, date posted, date modified, date expires, number of views and number of replies.
• Description - contains the details of the item displayed
• Price - asking price of the item displayed
• Web Link - if displayed, link to another web site
• Contact - contact information of the user posting the item
• Attachments - if displayed, Photo, Audio or Video attachments

Reply To Ad
To contact the user that listed the ad you can use the built-in e-mail interface.See below for a complete list of fields in this form and their descriptions.

All Ads From Same User
You may view all ads posted by a particular user by clicking on the hyperlink labeled 'View all of {username} ads'.

Send Ad to friend
If you find an ad that you think a friend may be interested in, click on the hyperlink labeled 'Send Ad to Friend'. This will display an e-mail form for you to complete. Once the form is complete, click the 'Send E-mail' button. See below for a complete list of fields in this form and their descriptions.

Printer Friendly Version
A printer friendly version is available by clicking on the  Print Version hyperlink

Notify Administrator
If you happen to view an ad that you think is violation of the Terms & Agreements of this site you can click on the hyperlink and send an e-mail notification to the site administrator. Once the e-mail is received and the ad reviewed the administrator will make the final determination if the ad should be removed or not. See below for a complete list of fields in this form and their descriptions.

II. Searching

Basic Search - Enter your keyword,choose a category to search within and click the 'SEARCH' button to conduct your search.

Advanced Search - Click on the advanced hyperlink located next to the basic search button to display the advanced search form. Once you have defined your search criteria, click on the 'START SEARCH' button. See below for a complete list of fields in this form and their descriptions.

General
Search for	enter your search string here
in the	you can choose between 3 different options: Title - searches only the title Body - searches only the body Title or Body - search either title or body
from category	chose the category you want to search within
Posted by username	if you want to search for ads posted by a particular user than enter their username here.
Location
State	define a state/providence to search within
Country	define a country to search within
Date Range
Posted between	enter the date range that you want to search by clicking on the icon. You may also manually enter the date in the format of 'YY/MM/DD'
in the last	you may choose a predefined number of days to search by choosing a value from the drop down list
Attachments
Must have	if you want the search to return only ads with attachments, you can specify what the type of attachment the ad must have Options are: Audio     Photo    Video
Results
Per Page	how many listings you want displayed at one time on a single page
Sort By	specify what order you want the ads to returned Options are: Date Expires - date the ad is set to expire (Default) Date Posted - date the ad was posted Price - asking price for the item Title - title of the ad
Way	sorts the results either in Ascending [A-Z/0-9) or Descending [Z-A/9-0]

III. Placing Ads

Click on the 'Place Ads' hyperlink located on the menu. Complete the Ad setup form, and click the 'Post Ad' button to post your ad. Attachments (Audio,Photo or Video) can be added once the ad has been posted. See below for a complete list of fields in this form and their descriptions.

IV. Modifying Ads

Click on the 'Modify Ads' hyperlink on the menu to to display you currently listed ads. Click on the ad modification icon to display the ad modification form. See below for a complete list of fields in this form and their descriptions.

Note: If the administrator has determined that all ads must be approved prior to them being displayed, you may see [ Awaiting Approval ] indicating that this ad has not yet been approved.

Note: If one of your ads is no longer listed, this could indicate that the ad was rejected by the administrator or that the ad has expired 30 ago and has been purged from the system.

Attachment Upload
File Types	click for the accepted file types
Browse	click to browse for your file to attach
Upload File	click to upload selected file File Size Restrictions: Maximum single file size - 1.00 MB Total file space allotted to each user - 2.00 MB Note: Photos will automatically be resized to 350 px wide. Height will be proportional to the 350 px width.
Photos
	click to delete photo attachment
	click to view photo attachment
Audio
	click to delete audio attachment
	click to hear audio attachment ( must have compatible player installed that supports the audio file type, if not the audio attachment will download to your computer. )
Video
	click to delete video attachment
	click to play video attachment ( must have compatible player installed that supports the video file type, if not the video attachment will download to your computer. )

V. Deleting Ads

Click the 'Modify Ads' hyperlink on the menu to display your currently listed ads. Click on the delete icon and confirm that you want to delete the ad.

Note: Once an ad has been deleted, all attachments associated with the ad will be permanently deleted.

I. Uploading

To upload an attachment you must first post an ad. Attachments can then be added to the ad by using the Ad Modification form. See the above section 'Modifying Ads' for a complete description of the upload fields.

II. Deleting

Attachments can be deleted several ways. The first is through the use of the Ad Modification form. Each attachment within the Ad modification form will contain a delete icon . Click on the icon and confirm attachment delete. Second you can use the 'Manage Attachment' area which is described in more detail below.

III. Managing

You can manage all of your attachments that you have uploaded from one single area. To access this area, click the 'Modify Ads' hyperlink on the menu. Click the button below the menu located to the right labeled ' [Manage Attachments]'. This will open a new window displaying your current attachments.

You will see the following items:

Name - original name of the attached file

Type - an icon will be displayed for each type of attachment (Audio, Photo or Video)

Size - file size of the uploaded attachment

Ad - the ad that the attachment is associated with

Open - allows you to open the attachment for preview

Delete - deletes the selected attachment

At the bottom of the attachments window you will see the total amount of file space that you have used and how much is still available.

I. Ad Agent

If you do not find an item that you are looking for you can setup an Ad Agent to monitor new Ads that are posted or check to see if an ad is modified to meet your search criteria. A maximum of 2 Ad Agent(s) can remain active for 90 day(s). Agents can be modified or deleted at any time. After the agent has expired, it will be deleted. Click the 'Ad Agent' hyperlink on the menu to setup your agent using the Ad Agent form. See below for a complete list of fields in this form and their descriptions.

II. Hot List

Keep track of ads that you are interested in. You can ad an add to your hot list from the ad listings page or from the full size ad. Just click on the checkbox to add or remove the ad from your hot list. Ads will remain on your Hot List until either the ad is deleted/purged, you delete your cookies or automatically after 30 days.
